What is connection?
I believe the connection exists inside of the relationships with people/spirits/nature etc. There are many kinds of relationships; healthy relationship, demanding relationship, scary at the surface yet meaningful relationship… there are countless ways to relate with others.
So, how can we create and maintain healthy connection to the divine as well as with our life? For me, the first step is to heal the relationship to ourselves internally.

Our body stores every memory of our life. (This is what I believe.) Have you ever felt an observer inside who is watching the situations quietly even the situation is super chaotic? This observer is our internal record keepers.
Most of our memories are stored in the subconscious, and it is not easy to contact with. But I bet everyone has some experiences that spontaneously memories come back. For example when encountering the fragrance of the old perfume that you ware in young age, or listing to the pop music you heard when you are very young. Those are the times when we reconnect to the frequency of the memory, and then we may experience some emotions that come with the memory.
We form our worlds according to our past experiences (include past life and ancestral experiences.) Our perspectives construct our realities. Everything exists in the universe, thus, how we look at the world, and how to form the reality is up to our perspectives. The world is not formed; we are forming the world like a movie. I am sharing my view of the reality in this post, for example.

It is fun to connect with and love the positive memories, and it is pretty difficult to connect with painful or hard experiences. Those “negative” memories withhold so much potentials for healing of the relationship to ourselves. We cannot change the past events, but we can change how we recognize them right now. I believe this is a very meaningful process in order to cultivate the healthy connection with ourselves.
The memories which come with pain, shame, or guilt make us to choose the paths which can avoid feeling them and create realties that protect those wounds. For example, we all have memory which says “Because of her/him, I had such a pain.” When we dig this deeper, the root is maybe simply “It was painful” but sometimes we need to have reasons to protect the pain. When pain is too much, or we are too young to deal with the situations, our body create like an energetic bubble around the experience and protect our heart from the impact. It is an amazing function of the body, and when we have too much energetic bubbles in the body, those can cause discomfort in the physical or mental health. So, it is important to untangle and heal them when we can.

Through Healing those wounds one by one, shining the light to the painful memories, we can reconnect with our past selves with compassion and love. The painful memories can be transformed into wisdoms which can help others or collective.
When the connection to ourselves gets healthier, the relationship to the outer world also gets healthier in my opinion. Internal thoughts and the words coming out from the mouth start synchronizing. The misbelieve or misunderstanding of the ancestors, spirits, and other people may resolve as well. There are unlimited ways to heal ourselves and create healthy connections. I believe our desire for connection is very primal to the human, coming from deep inside of our heart. I think it’d be great to heal our wounds, be honest with the prime desire, and connect with people/spirit/nature/ with health, so that love grows.
May we all keep remembering the healthy connections. <3
With love,
